Tasting Notes
Genre: Oak Meets Orchard — Bright, Floral, and Texturally Sharp
Chardonnay casks aren’t easy to work with — but when you get it right, you get something like this. A single malt that’s zesty, textural, and alive with citrus, grain, and toasted oak.
The nose is crisp: green apple, honeysuckle, lemon peel, and white peach. Chardonnay oak brings florals and spice — sandalwood, toasted almond, and a whisper of white blossom.
On the palate: bright and expressive. Lemon tart, grilled pineapple, and barley sugar wrap around fresh oak and creamy vanilla. There’s a mineral snap to the mid-palate — a structure reminiscent of a good white Burgundy.
Mid-palate stretches: white chocolate, cracked pepper, almond skin, and citrus zest. It’s light on its feet but grounded by grain and oak.
Finish: fresh, lightly drying, with notes of citrus peel and stone fruit lingering. This is a single malt that feels like spring in a glass — alive, elegant, and distinct.
