Tasting Notes
Among the most classic interpretations of Morey-Saint-Denis. Not only grapes from Village classified plots, but also those of the old Premier Cru Millandes strains, contribute to the exemplary expressiveness of this Morey. In all the sensory phases it establishes the canons of classicism of the Aoc: bright in color, defined and clear in its olfactory approach, never brash, of ripe blueberries and mulberry blackberries, linear and silky to the taste, in which the acid strength goes hand in hand with a sweet tannin and a slight saline trace. A dynamism that is just a thrill, as it "has to be", a prelude to the centrifugal force that we will find in the Clos de La Roche. No concession to the perception of the passage in wood (only 20% new). Another versatile wine from the range, another wine

Scores
91 / 100"Firm reduction dominates the nose today though there is good freshness to the sleek and nicely intense flavors that possess a bit more mid-palate volume if less refinement, all wrapped in a delicious and markedly more complex finale. This is a solid Morey villages."
