Tasting Notes
This Barossa Shiraz was produced from our best Barossa hand tended vineyards. Matured for 18 months in both American and French oak, this Shiraz can be enjoyed now yet will reward cellaring and decanting.
OUR WINE NOTES
Shiraz can be a simple sip or a symphony of the senses, a moment of pleasure or an eternity of contemplation. Only the poet can know, so stop thinking and surrender.
COLOUR
Black, purple and dangerous.
AROMA
Black and blood plums picked at dawn a day before ripening; spices and nutmeg and mace; bay leaf, soy, olives, rose petals and frangipani; slivers of dark chocolate and spoonfuls of Summer Pudding. An A to Z of Barossa Valley shiraz aromatics, with the timber work well and truly in the background.
PALATE

Scores
95 / 100"‘Richly fruited and inviting, the wine shows blackberry, dark cocoa, toasted spice, and cedar characters on the nose with a gorgeous floral overtone. The palate displays excellent weight and plump mouthfeel, with fleshy texture and loads of silky tannins, finishing superbly long and satisfying. At its best: now to 2036."
