Tasting Notes
Pure, unpretentious Yarra Valley Sangiovese, crafted in his distinct style.
Harvested from Dixon’s Creek and fermented entirely with whole bunches, the 2024 vintage is vibrant, fresh, and incredibly easy to drink.
In the glass, it presents a bright ruby hue, with lively notes of red cherry, wild herbs, and a hint of spice. The tannins are silky and fine, almost like spaghetti, as Timo puts it—delicate yet firm, providing structure and focus without overwhelming the wine.
A lighter, more aromatic expression of Sangiovese, yet still rich with depth.

94 / 100"Summon your pizzas, draw your pasta from the skies, exhume your charcuterie. Silky, satiny, super perfumed. Charisma plus. Vibrant red cherry, touches of maraschino, sweet spice, cola, cranberry, sarsaparilla going on here; kinda explosive, then, in the same breath, this feels tempered with lacy tannins and chalky pucker that extends through the lively squirt of blood orange tang. This has great mojo. It’s not just fun, it pushes an agenda about fine wine in Australia from the variety with its multi-layered vibe. Pleasure zone stuff."
