"Cocoa powder, coffee bean, hint of leafiness, mulberry. Brooding dark fruits layer the palate, with thick dark chocolate tannins, and an olive tapenade finish. Very enjoyable and warming."
- Mark Faber

5 / 5

"Sweetly ripe and fragrant, the bouquet shows blackcurrant, green olive, cured meat and toasted nut aromas. The succulent palate delivers good weight and plump mouthfeel, making it flavoursome and delightfully appealing. At its best: now to 2030."
- Sam Kim

Tasting Notes

“The Chilean volcanic terroir is nothing but dynamic. Many of our vineyards are located on mature volcanic – igneous regions, where soils are a result of the weathering processes that have occurred over millions of years. However, we also have vines growing on modern volcanic ash deposits emitted directly from volcanoes that we can see today in the magnificent Andes. Our philsophy is to create wines that reflect their unique soils, formed by volcanic activity over millions of years and that are true expressions of their origin, displaying the purity and typicity of the specific grape without excessive oak that can mask the unique flavours." Intense aromas of black fruit, bitter chocolate with hints of olives and toasted notes. Full-bodied, structured and creamy, soft and ripe tannins, with typical hints of black pepper and spice.
