Tasting Notes
Champagne 2012 Grand Cru from Soutiran represents the quintessence of the family know-how, with an exceptional cuvée which combines fineness and complexity.
It is sourced from a wise blend of the best Chardonnays (50%) and Pinots Noirs (50%), exclusively classified Grands Crus. This champagne unveils with elegance the richness of the terroir.
It has been raised for 7 years on slats and offers to the nose aromas of quince, pear and honey, with an intense iodine minerality.
The palate is suave and reveals the fruits with density, while the palate is very fresh. The final is full-bodied and harmonious, hallmark of an exceptional champagne.
A very limited production for this racy and elegant champagne, which can be stored in your cellar between 3 and 5 years. Presented in its elegant box, this champagne is perfect for the aperitif as well as during a gastronomic meal.

Scores
95 / 100"The partial wood aging has brought both complexity and rich softness to this fine blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Its fine fruits are gently maturing into a ripe, rounded character that will stay for many years. This is a fine wine that will be ready from 2021."

"Disgorged in October 2018 with 4.6 grams per liter dosage, the 2012 Brut Grand Cru Millésimé is rich and muscular, offering up aromas of golden orchard fruit, toasted brioche, fresh pastry and honeycomb. Full-bodied, textural and fleshy, it's serious and structured, with fine concentration, racy acids and a chalky finish."
