"If we had been able to push the Cabernet's maturity for 4 or 5 more days, we would have had a very great wine," explains Eric Kohler. Fresh and linear, the wine is distinguished by its elegance, its muscles and its sculpted tannins that allow themselves the luxury of being velvety while ensuring power and sapidity. A very convincing wine, with a salivating finish! 2029-2049 - Yves Beck"

"Thanks to meticulous extraction and season-long hard work in the vineyards, the 2024 Château Duhart-Milon blossoms with a quiet depth—calm, poised, and serenely assured. Far from striving for opulence, it expresses itself in timeless shades of black and white, with a minimalist grace that is both refined and sincere. Most captivating is the whisper of black ink on the nose—an elegant trace that brings delicacy to an otherwise understated aromatic profile."

"Redoubtably ‘Duhart’ with is intensely dark-berry fruit profile. This is a wine that would be austere even stern were it not for the sheer quality of the tannins that render it almost a little spiritual – an impression reinforced by the subtle floral and incense notes. They remind me a little of the descent into a cool underground chapel. A very pure cassis fruit. Gracious, quite succulent and with a pleasingly spherical core, generously enrobed – almost encrusted – by slightly grippy, granular and very tactile tannins. A lovely mouthfeel if not quite the complexity of recent great vintages. - Colin Hay"
