Scores
94 / 100"Bursting with notes of blackberries, woodsmoke, spices and rich soil tones, the 2018 Corton Grand Cru from Bonneau du Martray is full-bodied, velvety and enveloping, with a rich and ample core of fruit that's lively and concentrated, built around powdery tannins and succulent acids. Long and expansive, this may be the domaine's best red wine to date."

"A ripe, fresh and nicely airy nose combines notes of poached plum, dark berries, earth and a whiff of the sauvage. The energetic medium weight flavors possess very good cut and a relatively sophisticated mouthfeel thanks to the fine-grained tannins supporting the firm but well-balanced finale. This is sufficiently forward that it should be approachable after only 6-ish years of bottle age"
