Scores

94 / 100

"Bursting with notes of blackberries, woodsmoke, spices and rich soil tones, the 2018 Corton Grand Cru from Bonneau du Martray is full-bodied, velvety and enveloping, with a rich and ample core of fruit that's lively and concentrated, built around powdery tannins and succulent acids. Long and expansive, this may be the domaine's best red wine to date."
- The Wine Advocate

93 / 100

"A ripe, fresh and nicely airy nose combines notes of poached plum, dark berries, earth and a whiff of the sauvage. The energetic medium weight flavors possess very good cut and a relatively sophisticated mouthfeel thanks to the fine-grained tannins supporting the firm but well-balanced finale. This is sufficiently forward that it should be approachable after only 6-ish years of bottle age"
