Tasting Notes
A "casse tête" in French is a conundrum or puzzle and the name of this plot refers to the hardness of the soil and the challenge it was for our ancestors to plant vines on this pebbly limestone ground.

Scores
90 / 100"The palest of colours with some light but ripe pear fruit on the nose. Smoother and richer on the palate while retaining its fresh white fruit. Note that the samples are all served cold otherwise the wines might be fleshier."

"Tasted from barrel. Very young and lively due to their youth, and more on the citrus and white flower side of Meursault than riper stone fruits right now. Layers of flesh underneath, this is a sleeping giant. Oak still a little showy now but his will definitely settle in bottle."
