96 / 100"The grapes were grown by Angelo de Fazio at his Nitschke Road Vineyard, the wine matured in French oak (50% new) for 22 months. Deep and so intense crimson-purple it stains the glass as its swirled. It is voluptuously and very full-bodied, the tannins submerged as is the oak. 66 dozen."

Tasting Notes
The wine was matured in 50% new French oak for 22 months prior to bottling. The wine is deep ruby red and rich in flavour showing layers of plum, blackberry and other forest berry fruits. The rich fruit and supple tannins give length and vibrancy to the palate. This wine will continue to mature until at least 2030. Only 800 bottles, each individually numbered.
