Tasting Notes
There is no region of Italy where the territory has been parcelled out with the same care. Piedmont is not only the land of the great reds of Italy. It is also the region of sub-zones, of bricchi, of vineyards, each with its own peculiarity. Each with their own unique characteristics. As in this case. Barbera d'Alba yes, but produced only with grapes from a single vineyard, located in Madonna di Como, at the top of a hill, with a 360° exposure. A fresh wine, which has an intensely fruity bouquet, with hints of ripe red fruit and spicy hints of licorice and vanilla. In the mouth it is warm and powerful, with notes of ripe cherries, berries and minerals. The finish is long and persistent. His natural match? It is the one with the great Piedmontese mixed boiled meats or, more generally, the one with the great important dishes of Italian cuisine.
