97 / 100"An icon of the region for decades with great parcels of grapes to choose from, matured for 10 months in French and American oak. Bright crimson-purple; iron fist in a velvet glove stuff; sumptuously fleshy black cherry and blackberry fruit fills the mouth in a split second, and the impression remains there long after it has been swallowed. Yet it?s not the least bulky or extractive, just seductive."
