96 / 100"Medium-deep crimson. Intense blackberry, musky plum hint strawberry aromas with charcuterie notes. Seductive plate with fresh buoyant dark berry meaty flavours, chocolatey textures, lovely mid-palate richness and acid line. Lovely fruit complexity, richness of flavour and structure."

"Opaque core into a deep purple rim. Plum preserve and mocha aromas. The palate offers more complexity and savoury, meaty undertones than the nose suggested with a fine-grained tannic framework keeping the plum fruits flowing well into a long and dry finish. This would also offer further interest alongside a meal."

"Black and blue fruits, a little spice and dried herb. Medium-bodied, juicy dark berries, some toast and chocolate, maybe some pepper, with a light chew to tannin, and a plump finish of good length. Good drinking. Affable."

Tasting Notes
The newly labelled GSM Dedicated to all the Growers Schwarz Wine Co work with, whose hard work and dedication to their craft enable them to purchase luscious fruit year after year. The Grower range is a testament to the amazing growers Jason has forged long-term relationships with since 2001.
This blend of Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro represents the diverse pockets of the region, and the pure and pristine fruit it produces. A full and luscious bouquet with notes of cherry, licorice and violet. The palate is well rounded and has a good density of flavour. Touches of savouriness and well fitted tannins. Juicy, smooth and to put it simply
