98 / 100"Bright crimson-purple hue; for me this is usually the first among equals in the Wendouree portfolio, and it may become a common refrain, but Tony Brady has captured every facet of the great '12 vintage. The texture and structure effortlessly frame the gently spicy, fragrant black fruits of the bouquet and medium-bodied palate; the line, balance and length are sheer perfection."

"Lord only knows why this is rated higher in the Langtons classification than the Cabernet based wines. I can only conclude that the wine buying public are, in the main, drongos. WineFront readers, of course, are the cognoscenti. Malty, nutty hazelnut, bright perfumed red fruits, some mint. Medium bodied, dried sage and red fruit, very pure acidity and great shape. Pretty firm and very vibrant. Length is terrific. One for the ages, at present, all cheekbones and style."

"Refined and fresh. Real lift and local character. Masses of acidity. Devil may care. So fresh!"
