98 / 100"An Amarone for the future with terrific richness and tannin power, offering dried fruit, figs, blackberries, bark, mushrooms and hints of wood. Full-bodied and very structured with a powerful finish. It needs a lot of time to come around. Try it after 2024."

"Powerful, bright ruby. Opens in the nose with notes of savoury honey and pine needles, then much dark cherry, seems very fresh. On the palate grippy, gripping tannin, coated by sweet fruit, firm drive, still needs storage."

Tasting Notes
Amarone, the small jewel in our product line, is rightly considered the king of Verona's wines, produced from the best grapes of the Valpolicella Classic area, carefully selected and dried in trays until January. Showing deep ruby red, it releases intense aromas laden with rich spice and dried fruit; in the mouth it is a wine of superb richness and majestic flavors. The perfect wine for all roasts and game,as well as for aged cheeses.
