This isn't your Nonna’s limoncello — this is gincello. A uniquely South Australian hybrid of lemon liqueur and small-batch gin, distilled by the obsessives at 5Nines. It's a sunburst in a bottle: fresh, vibrant, and dangerously sippable.
The nose is a citrus grove in full bloom — lemon zest, lime leaf, lemon myrtle, and just a tease of piney juniper. There's a soft candied note, like lemon sherbet or lemon-drop sweets, but it’s framed with real botanical backbone.
On the palate, it walks a tightrope: tart lemon curd meets wild herbs, a dusting of sugar, and that subtle gin bitterness on the back. It's plush without being syrupy — more zest than juice, more herbalist than confectioner.
The finish is clean, lemon-forward, and lightly botanical. Serve over crushed ice with soda and mint, or pour it long with prosecco and basil. It's citrus-forward, cocktail-ready, and perfect for backyard aperitivo.
