Tasting Notes
Renowned in Margaret River, Deep Woods Estate is celebrated for crafting vibrant wines capturing the region's essence.
Their pinnacle Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from original estate vines and Abbey Vale vineyard, is a bright red beauty with a crimson edge.
Aromas of red fruit, violets, and cedar-like oak precede a medium-bodied palate bursting with red brambly fruits and cranberries. Super fine tannins, delicately suspended and sweetened by French oak, complete this exceptional expression of Deep Woods' winemaking artistry.

Scores
97 / 100"From the estate's first plantings; matured for 18 months in new and used French oak. Deep, vivid crimson purple. Fascinating bouquet that has the bay leaf I often find on the back palate/finish of quality cabernet sauvignon; also cassis (no surprise) wrapped in a fine gauze of oak and pliable tannins. Line, length and balance are all attributes of a classic Margaret River cabernet. Drink to: 2049"
