Tasting Notes
Domaine Lignier-Michelot is a wine producer based in the village of Morey-Saint-Denis, in Burgundy's Cote de Nuits subregion, where it produces a range of predominantly red, Pinot Noir-based wines from the Morey appellation Here there is a menthol note sitting atop the slightly riper yet cool aromas of cassis, violet and plum. The palate impression of the medium-bodied flavours isn't quite as concentrated but it is finer with a really lovely delineation to the mineral-inflected, balanced and lingering finish. Recommended.
