Tasting Notes
From site selection and biodynamic practices through to low intervention winemaking, the ultimate aim at Churton is to produce exceptional, terroir-driven wines.
We produce organically certified wines that reflect the diversity of our individual blocks and produce wines that combine texture, complexity, flavour and length.
Sauvignon Blanc is intense fresh and floral on the nose with lifted apricot and lime aromas. The palate is dry and plush in texture with great concentration of just ripe apricots, whilst boasting a vibrant mineral backbone and impressive strong lime citrus finish. Our 2022 Sauvignon Blanc is supremely balanced with a soft, creaminess and exceptional persistence.

Scores
94 / 100"A very attractive bouquet with aromas of citrus and ripe stone fruits, a tickle of tropical and fine lees layers. A natural ferment approach showcases the mineral qualities inherent. The texture and weight of this wine as it touches the palate are delicious, then the core flavours of citrus, lemon, and stone fruits white peach, then apple layer together with a fine lees texture and complexity. Balanced and well made, ready to drink from late 2024 through 2029."
