TASTING NOTES

This Vosne-Romanée is pure elegance in a glass, perfect for those moments when you want to slow down and savor something truly special. Domaine Méo-Camuzet’s 2023 vintage greets you with a fresh, mineral-driven character that feels both vibrant and refined. Think juicy red berries mingling with subtle earthy notes and a silky texture that wraps around your palate like a soft whisper.

Crafted from two iconic vineyard plots, “les Barreaux” and “les Communes,” this wine effortlessly balances freshness with a touch of ripeness and structure. It’s charming enough to enjoy young but sophisticated enough to age gracefully for years to come. Whether you’re uncorking it now or saving it for a future celebration, it promises depth and balance that evolve beautifully over time.

Pair this with a cozy night in, perhaps alongside roasted duck or mushroom risotto, and let it transform your evening into a mindful, delicious experience. With Méo-Camuzet’s signature finesse and a 93-point nod from Jasper Morris, this wine invites you to find your place and truly savor the moment.

From Les Barreaux and Aux Communes. A noble ruby purple. The bouquet expresses really well, ripe dark red fruit, yet the palate shows commendable grip. There is depth and for the vintage, greater concentration than most, living alongside its oak without difficulty. A very good example. Drink from 2030-2035.

Enough wood to notice surrounds the appealingly spicy nose of black cherry, exotic tea and a whiff of menthol. The delicious and vibrant medium weight flavors are not particularly dense though they do firm up noticeably on the compact, detailed and nicely persistent finale.
