Pale colour, Grapefruit lanolin tonic water aromas with some flinty herb notes. Generously flavoured and creamy textured with lovely pure grapefruit, white peach flavours, fine loose knit dry chalky textures, attractive mid-palate viscosity/ pith and underlying marzipan notes. Finishes crispy and minerally long. A generous expression of Bin 311

Pale straw with aromas of flint-struck white peach, nectarine and citrus fruits infused with hints of soft spice, clotted cream, nougat, almond meal, meadow flowers and stone. Initially creamy and mouth-filling, with a impressive fruit purity. There's an element of savoury restraint to its palate shape, with fine acidity lending propulsion, and textural filigree from a patina of fine, light phenolics. The finish is long, pure and precise. Great drinking all round here!

This is an elegant, elongated release with pear, white peach, custard apple and sweet oak notes, the latter integrated and gently toffee at once, the aftertaste then offering honey and chalk. For all this wine’s elegant style it remains juicy; it sits at the more engaging end of deliciousness. The take-home is that it’s a lovely wine; you could no doubt cellar it but it’s drinking deliciously now.

The 2024 Chardonnay Bin 311 has wide appeal thanks to its powerful and expressive aromas of melon and peach skin lifted by gertnous yet balanced French oak with savoury nougat barrel ferment, topped by a flinty lift. Punchy upfront grapefruit flavours are tightly wound, almost explosive, and need time to shine. Standout balance and legnth shocase an exceptional vitnage for this lable that will age very well.
