Crafted from handpicked Scheurebe grapes sourced from the Yallingup Estate, this sparkling wine showcases a unique varietal heritage. Scheurebe, a 1916 cross between Riesling and Bouquet Blanc, imparts vibrant lime and floral notes reminiscent of Riesling’s signature profile.
The grapes are gently whole bunch pressed after overnight chilling to preserve delicate floral aromas. A cool ferment with cultured yeast enhances the wine’s purity before bottle fermentation and disgorgement in December 2018, resulting in a sparkling wine with exceptional finesse and a fine, persistent bead.
This Blanc de Blanc NV is youthful and attractive, offering fresh aromas of subtle limes, citrus, and confectionery, complemented by a hint of brioche.
