99 / 100"The depth and intensity is really out of this world. The richness is there, but it's all in balance and has an almost weightless feel to it. It's medium- to full-bodied with purity and definition, and the magic of limestone soils keeps the pH low, giving energy, bright acidity and verve. Terrific young red. 51% merlot, 32% cabernet franc and 17% cabernet sauvignon."

"Deep dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, delicate edge brightening. Inviting dark berry fruit, blackberry, fresh cherry, delicate oak savouriness, with candied orange zest in the background. Juicy, tightly woven, ripe dark berries, integrated, supporting tannins, lively structure, chalky freshness, sticks well, red berry nuances on the finish, a lively, animating style, no trace of opulence, salty aftertaste, good length and sure maturity and certain ageing potential. - Peter Moser"

Tasting Notes
From the St-Emilion region of France. It is made from a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, and is aged for 18 months in oak barrels. The wine is characterized by its deep purple color, aromas of black fruit, spice, and tobacco, and its powerful, structured flavors. It is a wine that needs time to develop, but is capable of aging for many years.
