A refined Margaret River Chardonnay for beautifully unhurried moments. The 2025 Secret Deal Premium Chardonnay is all about finesse, purity and elegant restraint, with a Chablis-like style that feels fresh, polished and effortlessly sophisticated.

Juicy lime and subtle briny notes lead into a creamy, savoury palate, balanced by bright, lingering acidity. Hand-picked from Karridale and Yallingup vineyards, this premium Chardonnay spent nine months on lees, with a touch of malolactic fermentation adding extra texture and complexity.

Enjoy it with oysters, lemon-butter seafood or a long lunch with friends. Awarded 96 points by Ray Jordan, it is a standout Margaret River Chardonnay made to savour slowly.

Winter rainfall set the foundation for a great growing season. Pale straw in colour. The aroma is lifted and expressive, with cashew and almond layered through caramel and ripe tropical fruit. The palate is delightfully stylistic, pure and elegant, yet full and beautifully textured. Ripe tropical fruit leads with pineapple, lemon and lime, while the fruit and fine French oak are seamlessly woven together. There is richness and generosity here, but also lovely freshness, precision and finesse. Handpicked Gingin clone fruit, whole-bunch pressed and naturally fermented, with lees stirring and 10 months maturation in fine French oak barriques. This is only a baby. I would love to see where it is in another three years.

The bouquet is exquisite and alluring with nuances of white-fleshed peach, fig, grapefruit, vanilla, and biscotti. The concentrated palate delivers brilliant focus and outstanding depth, enhanced by a silky texture and perfectly pitched acidity, making it superbly harmonious and structured with an impressively long, poised finish. At its best: 2029 to 2040.

This is one of the finest chardonnays yet released from Wills Domain. The excellent 2025 vintage has clearly been fully realised. Aromas of light cashew, stone fruit and lemon curd introduce a palate that is exquisitely integrated, powerful and impressively linear. A fine thread of mineral tension drives the wine through its long, focused finish. Beautifully composed now, but it will reward further cellaring.
